Navara D22 [2002 - 2005]

The D22-generation Nissan Navara arrived in Spain in the late 1990s, built at the Barcelona plant for the European market. It was offered as a Single Cab, King Cab (extended cab) and Double Cab. In Europe the core engine was the 2.5 TD / 2.5 dCi diesel, producing between 100 and 133 hp.

In 2001 it received a mid-life facelift focused on the exterior, bringing a redesigned front grille, revised headlights and updated bumpers. This generation stayed on sale until around 2005, when it was replaced by the D40, although it continued to be offered in some markets for longer as a more affordable workhorse. In Spain the model returned from 2008 under the Nissan NP300 badge.
