Hilux [2026 - ]

In mid-2026, the 9th generation of the Toyota Hilux arrives in Spain, also known in other markets as the Hilux “Travo.” It is initially sold with the 2.8 diesel 1GD-FTV engine featuring 48V mild hybrid technology, already used in the previous generation (GUN226). The arrival of a fully electric version called Hilux BEV, as well as a hydrogen-powered version, is also planned. In some European countries, a 2.7 petrol engine will also be available.
