Hilux [2016 - 2026]

The 8th generation of the Toyota Hilux arrived on the European market in 2016, also known in other markets as the Hilux “Revo.” Initially, it was available in single cab, extra cab, and double cab body styles, with a single engine option: the 2.4 diesel 2GD-FTV (GUN125). To mark its 50th anniversary, the “Invincible” trim was introduced, featuring slight aesthetic changes over the base model. The first significant update came in 2018, with a new bumper, grille, and LED headlights, although in Spain this update was only available under the special “Legend” trim name.

In 2021, a second facelift arrived for all versions, with completely new bumpers, grille, and headlights for the GX, VX, and VLX trims. The 2.8 diesel 1GD-FTV engine (GUN126) was introduced for the higher-end versions, and the Hilux became available only in double and extra cab body styles. The “Invincible” trim became the top-of-the-range version, featuring exclusive bumpers, grilles, and fender flares.
