These load bars are installed transversely on the rigid shell of the Caramiña 130 and Caramiña 180 roof tents. They allow you to transport surfboards, sand slabs, or even bicycles on top of the roof tent.

Roof bars (also called roof racks or luggage carriers, whether transverse or longitudinal) are not considered modifications as long as they are anchored to the locations specified by the manufacturer. If new mounting holes are drilled into the vehicle body, homologation (approval) will be required.
This homologation information applies to Spain according to the Vehicle Modifications Manual, Revision 7. For any other country, the corresponding national legislation should be consulted.
