EnduraPro and EnduraPro PLUS are high-performance shock absorbers engineered with the same dimensions and fitment as the original equipment (OE) units. They are designed to work with the vehicle’s factory springs and top mounts. Their lower spring seat matches the original OE shock absorber exactly. In addition to replacing worn or leaking OE dampers, these products are ideal for enhancing ride comfort and handling performance without changing the vehicle’s ride height.

HIGH STRENGTH AND DURABILITY:

  • Reinforced mounting points. On McPherson strut-type suspensions, critical mounting areas are manufactured with increased thickness to provide greater strength and durability compared to standard OE shock absorbers.
  • Heavy-duty casing with increased oil capacity. The shock body, a key structural component, is manufactured from high-strength material with approximately 150% of the tensile strength of the OE casing.
  • High-performance shock oil. Features outstanding anti-foaming properties that prevent cavitation (air bubble formation) and resist overheating, ensuring quiet and consistent operation even on rough terrain and poor road surfaces.
  • Corrosion-resistant coating. The signature TEIN bright green powder-coat finish delivers exceptional durability and corrosion protection. The coating process is environmentally friendly and free from organic solvents.

HYDRAULIC BUMP STOP (H.B.S.) – Improved comfort and enhanced durability when carrying maximum passenger and cargo loads.

When conventional shock absorbers reach full compression, the rubber bump stops are compressed. The stored energy is then released as a rebound force, which can negatively affect vehicle stability and ride quality. Repeated bottoming-out can also lead to premature shock absorber damage.

EnduraPro and EnduraPro PLUS models equipped with H.B.S. internally convert compression impact energy into thermal energy (heat) and absorb it, significantly reducing harshness and minimizing unwanted vehicle movement.

As the shock absorber approaches full compression, the operating valve is pushed downward, activating the H.B.S. system. The base valve oil passages are progressively restricted, limiting oil flow and generating a substantially increased damping force. By reducing internal shock loads and bottoming-out damage, the H.B.S. system also contributes to extended shock absorber service life.

TWIN-TUBE DESIGN

Compared with conventional monotube designs, the twin-tube configuration allows for longer suspension travel with reduced rebound force, delivering outstanding ride comfort.

Real-world roads present a wide variety of surface conditions, requiring shock absorbers capable of smooth operation across a broad range of suspension movement. Thanks to its longer, more compliant stroke, the system absorbs bumps, potholes and speed humps with greater control, providing a smooth ride at low speeds while maintaining excellent stability at higher speeds.
