EFS LEAF SPRINGS: MULTI-LEAF vs. PARABOLIC

EFS MULTI-LEAF SPRINGS

The multi-leaf spring is the choice for maximum strength and reliability. They are manufactured with a stack of constant-thickness SUP9 Japanese steel leaves. Their design is optimized for vehicles carrying constant or heavy loads that require superior lateral stability.

  • Load Capacity: Designed to support heavy weights without sagging, maintaining vehicle ride height.
  • Control: They offer firm and predictable handling, ideal for towing or vehicles with heavy additional equipment.
  • Durability: Their robust structure makes them ideal for the most severe working conditions and intensive use.

EFS PARABOLIC LEAF SPRINGS

The parabolic leaf spring represents the technological evolution in comfort. Unlike traditional ones, it consists of fewer leaves with tapered thickness (thicker in the center and thinner at the ends). This design eliminates inter-leaf friction, allowing the spring to work much more elastically.

  • Ride Comfort: They provide a much smoother drive, similar to a coil spring, better absorbing road irregularities.
  • Off-Road Articulation: By reducing internal friction, the spring flexes more freely, improving suspension travel and ground contact.
  • Lightweight: They reduce the vehicle's unsprung weight, improving the agility and response time of the suspension system.
