The EFS X-Treme series represents the premium segment of EFS, originally developed for the critical demands of 4WD competition and high-impact events such as the "Outback Challenge." After more than a decade of evolution and testing in Australia's most hostile environments, this range has been refined to offer a suspension solution that exceeds the capabilities of conventional systems, guaranteeing unsurpassed durability under extreme fatigue conditions.
ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY AND CONSTRUCTION
Unlike standard shock absorbers, the X-Treme model utilizes a large-bore purely hydraulic twin-tube design, optimized to manage high unsprung mass. Its architecture is engineered to mitigate structural stress on high-impact frequency terrains, such as corrugated tracks and high-difficulty technical off-road routes.
The use of special high thermal stability fluids and multi-lip Viton seals ensures the shock absorber maintains its properties and seal integrity even when operating temperatures reach critical ranges. Furthermore, the integration of an internal hydraulic rebound stop acts as an end-of-travel damper, protecting internal components and chassis mounting points against violent extensions.
